Location: Delhi NCR / PAN India


We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building dynamic, scalable, and secure web applications on the Oracle Database platform while ensuring optimal performance, usability, and maintainability.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy Oracle APEX applications with a focus on usability and performance.
  2. Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support application logic.
  3. Design and manage Oracle Database objects (tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms).
  4. Implement and maintain RESTful Web Services (ORDS) for external integrations.
  5. Build dynamic, responsive, and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML5.
  6. Develop and manage APEX components like Forms, Interactive Grids, Reports, and Charts.
  7. Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and security best practices.
  8. Perform performance tuning of queries, PL/SQL code, and application workflows.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, database bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
  10. Collaborate with DBAs, System Administrators, and Business Analysts to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  11. Deploy and maintain applications in On-Premise and Cloud environments (OCI, AWS, or Azure).
  12. Maintain documentation for applications, technical processes, and best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
  2. Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c and Above, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  3. Experience with APEX components such as Interactive Reports, Grids, Forms, and Dynamic Actions.
  4. Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs for UI/UX customization.
  5. Experience with Oracle ORDS (REST Data Services) for API development.
  6. Familiarity with APEX Security Features (authentication, authorization, session state management).
  7. Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning (query optimization, indexing strategies, debugging).
  8. Experience in Version Control Systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for APEX applications.
  9. Understanding of Oracle APEX deployment and migration strategies.
  10. Experience in cloud-based APEX deployment (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure) is a plus.
  11. Ability to work in Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
  12. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in APEX Plugin Development.
  2. Exposure to ERP Systems.
  3. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) development in APEX.
  4. Familiarity with APEX Data Loading and ETL Processes.
  5. Experience with APEX automation and DevOps practices.
